Refund Policy

This policy explains when and how we issue refunds for Dreamuna subscriptions. It applies alongside our Terms of Service and the rules of your payment provider (Lemon Squeezy for web purchases, Apple/Google for mobile).

1. The $1 trial charge

When you start a trial, your card is charged $1 USD up front. This is a real charge, not a hold. If you cancel before the 3-day trial ends, you will not be charged anything further, but the initial $1 is non-refundable because the trial access was provided.

Exception: if you believe the $1 charge was unauthorized or duplicated, email hello@dreamuna.com within 14 days and we will investigate and refund if the charge was in error.

2. Subscription renewals

After the trial, your subscription renews automatically at the plan price you selected ($9.99/week or $29.99/month). Renewals are generally non-refundable once the new billing period has begun, because the service has already been made available for that period.

You retain full access until the end of the billing period you have paid for, even after cancellation.

3. When we will refund a renewal

We will refund a renewal charge in good faith in the following situations:

  • Technical failure: the service was unavailable for a material portion of the billing period you were charged for.
  • Billing error: you were charged more than once, at the wrong price, or after a confirmed cancellation.
  • Unauthorized charge: the subscription was not set up by the cardholder. Please also report this to your bank.
  • Accidental renewal within 48 hours: you intended to cancel but missed the deadline, and you contact us within 48 hours of the renewal and have not made significant use of the service in the new period.

Outside these cases, refunds are at our discretion and not guaranteed. Sustained use of the service is generally treated as acceptance of the charge for that period.

4. How to cancel (before refunds become a question)

Cancel any time from your Account page, or via the customer-portal link in any receipt email. You can also email hello@dreamuna.com — cancellations take effect no later than the end of the current billing period, per US Click-to-Cancel rules.

5. How to request a refund

Email hello@dreamuna.com with the email address on the subscription, the approximate date of the charge, and a short description of the reason. We aim to respond within one business day (24h). Approved refunds are issued back to the original payment method and typically arrive within 5–10 business days, depending on your card network.

6. Chargebacks

Please contact us first. Initiating a chargeback with your bank before giving us a chance to resolve the issue can result in the cost of the chargeback being contested on both sides, longer resolution, and the closure of your account. We would much rather resolve things directly.

7. Mobile-store purchases

Subscriptions purchased through the Apple App Store or Google Play are governed by Apple's and Google's refund policies, not this one. Use Apple's reportaproblem.apple.com or Google Play's refund form.

8. Statutory rights

This policy does not override mandatory consumer-protection rights in your country of residence. For example, EU/UK consumers may have a statutory right to withdraw from a contract within 14 days, subject to the usual digital-content exceptions once service provision has begun with your consent.
